@AllThePaige true, in some ways. but excess oil also causes large pores in older skin.

Bio-oil isn’t for oily skin. Or acne prone skin. I have extremely dry skin, and it works wonders on my face. I think I would be lost without it (:

Biore’s warming blackhead cleanser is 10x better than the apricot scrub. It’s gentler and works BETTER! Also, instead of bio-oil use Mederma in cream form. Won’t break you out and it works!

I tried the bio-oil, but since i’m not committed to using is daily, it didn’t work for me

you are so beautiful, you melt my heart

I am using bio-oil now and it helped my acne scars fade faster. I have oily skin too so I only used it at night instead of the recommendation on the bottle. It works for me…but what works for me might not work for everybody.

I like using the St. Ives scrub labeled “Timeless Skin”. The little scrubbies are much finer so it’s less abrasive than the regular Apricot Scrub.

I have very very dry skin. Acne appears from time to time around my mouth and on my chin, particularly. Also I have read spot on my cheek. I have very light color skin so any irritations or acne pimple becomes very visible. Does any one have any recommendation regarding taking care of very dry skin to avoid redness and pimples? I am asian too.

try honey, exteener. I swear. I have bio oil too but it does not work for those kinds of spots. I have those spots too. If it bugs me, at night I put honey where the spots are and they reduce!

is the extra smooth sun protection cream better than the extra smooth sun protection lotion?
July 24th, 2010 at 7:01 pm
@hummingbyrde Try using olive oil around your skin , it doesn’t clog your pores. hope this helps

@AllThePaige – I do agree with you. People with very oily skin tend to look younger much longer. I have very very dry skin and I have always looked older than my age by at least 5 years. My husband who on the other hand has very oily skin looks much younger than his age. I am soooo jealous. I have tried tons of products on my skin to moisturize it but I feel like I am losing the battle against time.
